My name is Tomisin Olusola Martins, @martinstomisin, and I hail from Nigeria. I’m a young Poet, budding Photographer and Author of a Poetry Collection, Alto in the Larynx of Lake.

I vehemently believe that, “life without poetry is like a soup without condiments; without it, life will be flavourless, distasteful and unrhythmic.” Poetry is one of the best evoking outlets I mostly use in writing my intents and speaking out my pent-up emotions. And I also believe in the power of poetry to change the readers and lovers of poetry through its fundamental musicalness, poeticness, vibes, rhythms, rhymes, meters, stanzas, enjambments, figurative language and other beautiful embodiments embedded in poetry (that makes it poetry)

Some of my poems have been published in print such as Evincepub Publishing’s Bilingual Poetry Anthology 2019, and online publications of artistic literary movements such as Immagine & Poesia vol.4 2017, PIN quarterly Journals issue 8 & 9, Chantwood Magazine, November 2016, The Bezine, March 2018, vol.5, OPA Anthology of Poetry 2019, The Poetry Nook Anthology 2019 and so on.

I love devoting most of my time writing and taking different shots for fun and lecturing people on literature, especially on how to be a CREATIVE WRITER and a great POET.
