Ola W. Halim is a Nigerian writer, educator, and literary artist based in Edo State, Nigeria, whose work spans fiction, poetry, and short stories. His writing often explores themes of identity, queerness, feminism, albinism, and inclusive education, blending personal experience with imaginative storytelling. Halim has been published in numerous literary journals, including African Writer, Lolwe, ARTmosterrific, adda, and Black Pride Magazine. He has received recognition such as the LitFest Prize for Fiction (2020) and has been shortlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize and the TFCN Teacher’s Prize for Literature. In addition to writing, he serves as a prose editor for ARTmosterrific and mentors emerging writers through platforms like the Literary Laddership for Emerging African Authors.
