BLACK PRIDE Magazine is a bi‑monthly publication — launched on 2 January 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria — with the stated mission of promoting and celebrating African/Black culture, identity, heritage, entertainment and social life

Its editorial scope includes a variety of content types: news and updates, prose, poetry, interviews, opinion articles, cultural analysis, event coverage, and more. The goal, as laid out on its “About” page: to “promote blacks’ culture, religion, and entertainment,” and to project “the beauty in you” to the world.

BLACK PRIDE Magazine describes itself not simply as a lifestyle or entertainment outlet — but as a platform for cultural sensitization and affirmation, aiming to uplift Black identity and heritage through creative content, stories and community engagement.
