NCDC clears air, releases update on recruitment exercise

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has cleared the air on an alleged recruitment claims published by some magazines in recent times.

The agency confirmed in an SMS sent to mobile subscribers on Thursday that it is not “conducting any recruitment activities at this time”.

The NCDC also warned Nigerians not to offer payment in return for employment.

It reads: “NOTICE: Beware of fraud! NCDC will never request for payment in return for employment and NCDC is not conducting any recruitment activities at this time.”

However, The Nigerian Army has officially opened its online portal for the 2020 recruitment registration exercise for Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC26/202) and Short Service Combatant commission (SSC47/2021). Click here to read recruitment details and begin application.
