| Biography | Cynthia Gentile is a U.S.-based legal scholar, educator and author. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and American Studies and a Juris Doctor (law degree) from Rutgers University School of Law. She has taught extensively in higher education — including as full‑time faculty in the Legal Studies department of Peirce College in Philadelphia, and currently as a Professor of Management at American Public University System (APUS), focusing on courses such as Employment Law, Labor Relations, Business Law, Legal & Business Ethics, and Intellectual Property Law. Beyond teaching, she engages in scholarly work and legal research: she has co‑authored peer‑reviewed articles — e.g. on litigation and sovereign immunity — and contributed to legal pedagogy with publications such as “The Optical Horn” case‑study article and a review of the first 20 years of the Atlantic Law Journal. Outside academia, she also maintains a broader public voice: she has worked as a freelance writer and music critic (having authored 250+ feature stories), served as senior editor for a magazine, and been active in advocacy for workplace equality and legal rights |
