The New LimeStone Review is the literary journal of the University of Kentucky Department of English and they’re organizing a writing contest to honor the works of Gurney Norman, a former Poet Laureate of Kentucky and the author of four books of fiction and this has led to the GURNEY NORMAN PRIZE for Fiction.

PRIZES

First place winner receives $500 & publication in New Limestone Review
Second place winner receives $250 & publication in New Limestone Review
Third place winner receives publication in New Limestone Review

GUIDELINES

-The contest is open to contributors of fiction only (Fiction writers)
-All submissions will be considered for publication.
-There is a maximum word count of 7,000 words.
-Simulteanous submissions can be made, however each must be submitted separately with its own submission fee.
-The submission fee is $12.
-Please include page numbers, but no identifying information on the submission itself.
