With Lulu Digital Distribution Service, you can sell your self-published book on Amazon, the Ingram Network, and more in as little as 6-8 weeks. Lulu Global distribution service reaches over 40,000 book retailers and schools around the world.
Once your book is approved for distribution, book data is sent to major bibliographic databases, including Nielsen and Bowker. Additionally, brick-and-mortar bookstores can order and stock your title at their discretion through Ingram.

Book Eligibility
To be eligible for Global Distribution, your book:
- Must have an ISBN: We can use Lulu free ISBN for you, or you can click here to register one from the National Library.
- Must be in English.
Content Requirements
For your book to be approved for digital distribution by Lulu, the content must meet the requirements:
- Interactive Content: Coloring books, journals, planners, puzzle books, etc. are not accepted
- Workbooks: Ebooks should not include areas for writing e.g. fill-in-the-blanks, workbooks, or areas for notes.
- Plagiarized Content: Content that is freely available elsewhere, including but not limited to public domain material, content aggregated from online sources, and content that is identical to existing publications by other authors or publishers are not accepted.
- Scanned Texts: Scanned images or screenshots of texts are ineligible.
- Summary Books: A book that is a summary, study guide, workbook, or analysis of another book are no longer accepted by distributors.
- Typos: Make sure there are no misspellings or grammatical errors in your file.
- Low Content: Amazon & Ingram do not accept coloring books, journals, diaries, puzzle books, or books with many blank or lined pages.
Cover Requirements
- Misleading Book Covers are not allowed
- Author Name should be present on the Book Cover
- Low-Resolution Cover Image will not be accepted
Cost Implications
Lulu charges $4.99 as global distribution fee on each e-book you publish. They also take up to 10% of your revenue as commission.
Our own services include book formatting, store listing and submittance for review, up until approval. Our charge is calculated based on your publication.
