Ramadan Poem | Day 15: Write About now by Zulikha Idris Babalola
front corners of the world, women have become a plaything… Used and dumped to
the comfort of a waste bin.
the back corners of the world, leadership positions are fought for.. Something we
should run from… Due to the enormous accountability that we’ll be asked of.
the left corners of the world, sex is no longer sacred. Displayed publicly at every
angle you turn. Man to man. Woman to woman and several men to a woman.
now, in the right corners of the world, the oppressed are lamenting in distress.
Yet they live to love while their oppressors live to hate.
