FWGE Day 4: A Lost Butterfly by Oladipo Abiodun Jacob
but when absence lives in my walls
what music will my mouth produce?
It was the day her words left my world,
the day I had nothing to say,
into the region of my loin.
A shadow had come to my dream,
into that place where love and hate
are illusions playing in waters,
where a man wonders about the lost song,
threatening to break his throat.
Two shadows walked down the oesophagus,
like two birds chasing the sun,
talking about what the stomach would say,
When he is tired of remembering the
Sadness.
I miss you
